AristAI Profile PDF Bridge

The AristAI Profile PDF Bridge is a Chrome extension used by staff of institutions that run the AristAI Program Mapper. It fetches the "Save to PDF" export of one professional profile at a time, using the LinkedIn session already signed in on the browser, and hands that file to the open AristAI page that asked for it.

What the extension reads

• The LinkedIn session cookie of the signed-in browser, only to make the same requests the "Save to PDF" button makes.
• The profile page and PDF export of the single profile the AristAI page requested.

What the extension sends, and where

• The fetched PDF is passed to the AristAI page that requested it (aristai.io). Nothing is sent anywhere else.
• The extension has no server of its own and makes no request to any AristAI or third-party service.

What the extension stores

Nothing. It keeps no history, no cookies, no profile data and no PDF. Each fetch is handled in memory and discarded.

What the extension never does

• It never runs on its own; it only acts when an AristAI page you have open asks for one profile.
• It never fetches more than one profile per request and has no batch mode.
• It never changes anything on LinkedIn or reads pages other than the requested profile.

Permissions

• cookies and linkedin.com: to reuse your existing LinkedIn login for the export request.
• externally connectable to aristai.io: so only AristAI pages can ask the extension to fetch a profile.
